Cub Scouts are boys who are in first through fifth grade. Cub Pack 65 is divided by age, into groups of five to eight boys and are assigned to a "den". The four dens are; Tiger Cubs (first-graders, or age 6 or 7), Wolf Cub Scouts (second-graders, or age 8), Bear Cub Scouts (third-graders, or age 9), and Webelos (fourth- and fifth-graders, or age 10). No matter what age or grade a boy joins Cub Scouting, he must earn his Bobcat badge before he can advance to the rank of Tiger Cub, Wolf, Bear, or Webelos.

Boys that have finished the fifth grade and are age 11 - 17, are in the next level of scouting, Boy Scouts.

The Scout Patches
The Webelows Patch Together all of the dens make up the pack. Each scout attends a weekly den meeting and can bring as many family and friends as they wish. We meet at the Middle Township Elementary No. 2 School cafeteria on Wednesdays at 7 PM. Click Here for a map. At each den meeting a boy progresses a little further toward the next rank, learning skills as he goes. Once a month, all of the dens and family members gather for a pack meeting under the direction of our Cubmaster and pack committee. The committee includes parents of boys in the pack and members of the chartered organization. The monthly pack meetings mark achievements along the Cub Scout trail and celebrate accomplishments along the way.

The pinnacle of Cub Scouting is the Arrow of Light Award. The requirements for this badge include developing outdoor skills, gaining an understanding of the values of Scouting, and preparing to become a Boy Scout. Arrow of Light
